PROJECT DESCRIPTION: To test several types of collagen in developing our first natural wound/skin care product. KEY PROJECT ACTIVITIES: All activities will be supervised by co-founders of the company. Activities will be limited or added based on weekly meetings and progress Identify up to five sources of collagen e.g., bovine, chicken, fish used in skin care products Conduct cell biology assay in a lab at Ottawa U/CHEO to identify the best collagen IDEAL ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Number of students required: 3, preferably in Pharmacy, Medicine, Chemistry, Biology FINAL DELIVERABLES: Notes and/or graphs based on completed activities
