Students will learn how to assess the internal and external environment and use that information to design a total rewards structure that aligns HR strategy with organizational goals.
Human Resource Management

This course provides an introduction into a variety of human resource management (HRM) topics, including strategic human resource planning, work design, recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, health and safety, equity and diversity, and labor relations. A partnering company will be able to select five topics for students to focus on. Each topic will be assigned to two teams. Teams will do research on the topic to address an issue, answer questions, and/or provide recommendations for improvement.
