Interior Design
PROJECT SCOPE Number of positions available: One or more teams with one or more students We are expanding our facilities across the US and other countries, for this we need interior design for our grow rooms and facilities. Students will be provided with a video and source files of our previous designs. These are then used to create the new design facilities. From these drawing, we want to use it to place the equipment in our facilities, create walk-ins, marketing and potentially other beneficial uses. This will result in students collaborating with different teams and expanding their network. During this internship, students are treated as equals. LGS Ecosystem Project Managers

An Arduino board is also used for other projects in which the boards communicate and linked with other tools. Due to this, our interns will be working together with various teams ranging from engineers to our science team. Giving them the whole perspective on how broad a company is. SBIR/USDA Grants
We are a start-up looking to revolutionize agriculture by using indoor vertical farming, along with contributing to 14 out of the 17 UN SDG goals. We believe in improving the world, and therefore we are allegedly for a variety of grants. We want a student to helps us finding and applying for those grants. We have already applied and being accepted to a couple of grants. Students will be given information & help along with finding and applying for these grants. Grow Unit Redesign
Number of positions available: One or more teams with one or more students We have created a "Grow Unit" that is used in Indoor Vertical Farming. Our Grow Unit consists of several subsystems: - the mechanical part made from several stainless steel components, - Lighting subsystem - mounted LEDs - IoT - Arduino - manages all the other subsystems, and reads sensor data - Air management system - air flow, CO2 - Water subsystem - Nutrient subsystem - adds nutrients to the water system We currently want to do an overall on the design and prepare it for manufacturing.
