Digital Marketing Strategy - Facebook
Internship or Student Group Project: We need a team of 3 students for 210 hours, to help us develop a digital marketing strategy to grow and engage our target market. We want to create a plan, and calendar for a year, for at least one of our social media platforms, Facebook. We’d like to know how we can maximize our impact on Facebook and other social media channels and what will work best for us. The main questions we’d like students to help us answer are the following: Plan a year long calendar of events, and special days to connect with on FB. How can we use the FB groups to build community in our organization? What budget is appropriate for advertising? What kinds of posts can we create from our existing website content to promote our speakers? Due to the nature of our business and content, we require an Indigenous person with a understanding of colonization and Indigenous culture to aid in the communication using social media. That cultural knowledge is way more important than a knowledge of social media technology.

Developing Indigenous Speaker Quote Sheets
LEVEL UP Project : 2 students, working for 160 total hours, to create 40 Speaker Quote Sheets Background : As an organization that bridges the gap between the western world and Indigneous speakers, it is imperative that we create deliverables for each of our speakers that matches western world expectations. One of these deliverables is a written Speaker Quote Sheet, intended for clients which includes biography information, achievement highlights and links to further applicable resources on speakers. Project: In this project, the student will be expected to work with stored and researched material and resources on our Indigenous Speakers, as well as perhaps conduct interviews with speakers to garner marketable information for their introductions. The student is expected to complete a minimum of 20 seperate Speaker Quote Sheets for various speakers (from each student). Goals: 2 students will be working on creating a valid and complimentary written Quote sheets that will provide credibility and confidence about the speaker, for a potential audience. As the student will be working with a demographic of people known primarily for their humility, the student will need to be diligent in acquiring the information that can best illustrate the speakers many gifts and assets. Skills Requirement: The successful students will have completed a minimum of 10 hours Indigenous Awareness training within the past 2 years. Some experience working with diverse communities. We need a student or a team of students to create a secondary professional website for our business. 1-2 Students for 80-160 hours of work. We need self motivated, talented, and artistic students to help us design a website. Your creative input and web developing skills are needed. The student will need to: Listen, research, and manage content for a website. Create a plan to use all content and features we require. Collaborate on a creative and technical team to complete the second stage of this project. A second stage is the filling in of the content for a preexisting website. Successful completion of this stage could lead to further work with IISB and our web team.

Promotional Video Scripting Content Writers
This project is specifically for the Level UP program. We are open to exploring other opportunities with professors and program coordinators. Project Create promotional scripts from the presentations of our speakers. The creative team will have to understand the main message of the presentation and decide what best captures the meaning and intent of the speaker to focus on when creating promotional scripts from that presentation video. Students will create at least 10 promotional scripts. Students will receive Indigenous Awareness Education, and shown examples of the product. They will have to research, view videos, write, and engage with each speaker to ensure that the video product captures the main ideas. Goals: to create a full set of Indigenous Engagement Sheets for the first group of speakers. Skills Requirement: research, formatting, interview and listening skills, as well as a willingness to be creative and learn about the messages of our speakers and how to best capture those ideas in a short promotional script.

Secondary Company Website Concept Development
We need a student or a team of students to create a secondary professional website for our business. We need self motivated, talented, and artistic students to help us design a website. Your creative input and web developing skills are needed. The student will need to: Listen, research, and design a website. Create a proposal for the site including various possible platforms and technologies. Create a mock up or rough website, with all content and features we require. Collaborate on a creative and technical team to complete the first stage of this project. A second stage will be necessary to complete the construction of the website (also a riipen project). Successful completion of this stage could lead to further work with IISB and our web team.

Virtual Internship: Business Marketing, Communications, & Finance
Our organization is offering a virtual internship opportunity (dates flexible) Goal Interns at The International Indigenous Speakers Bureau - IISB will be provided an opportunity to connect and engage with various Indigenous celebrities, leaders, Knowledge Keepers and experts from around the world. This requires research and an understanding of the TRC’s Calls to Action specific to each speaker’s presentation. Students will receive Indigenous Awareness Education, and shown examples of the product. They will have to research, format, write, and engage with each speaker to ensure that the engagement sheet captures the main ideas. Goals: to create a full set of Indigenous Engagement Sheets for the first group of speakers. Skills Requirement: research, formatting, interview and listening skills, as well as a willingness to be creative and learn about the TRC’s Calls to Action. Small group or an individual student could apply for this Internship. OR A whole classroom team would work together with our Education Team to fulfil the project. Speakers' Intro Videos (1st 30)
Level Up Project - or classroom project, please contact us for more information. We want to work with 2 students, as a team, for 160 hours. We want to have up to 30 speakers' intro videos completed in this project. Our organisation is expanding and needs videos produced to introduce our professional speakers at the start of their virtual presentations. We are looking for student video editors with creative and technical skill to help us achieve a greater exposure through video. Goal Create a powerful and moving video for IISB to use to introduce our speakers during a virtual presentation. Develop pre-production, production, and post-production skills, such as editing and storyboarding. Work as a team to research, write, collect video and still assets, and produce the Speakers' Introduction Video. Our ultimate goal is to create introductory videos for our amazing speakers to allow producers of streaming presentations to play the video as a way of introducing the speaker. These videos should include a variety of elements and be short and powerful. Outcomes for Students Meet with experts and professionals from many different industries around the globe. Develop a greater sense of connection with Indigenous people through our unique multi-cultural sensitivity and awareness experiences. Develop a personal/professional portfolio of work to enhance a resume and a skill set. Develop high level skills, using industry standard software, and be supervised by professionals in a variety of fields. Digital Marketing Strategy - Facebook
Level Up - We want a team of 3 students for 240 hours, to help us develop a digital marketing strategy to grow and engage our target market. We want to create a plan, and calendar for a year, for at least one of our social media platforms, Facebook. We’d like to know how we can maximize different channels and what will work best for us. The main questions we’d like students to help us answer are the following: Plan a year long calendar of events, and special days to connect with on FB. How can we use the FB groups to build community in our organization? What budget is appropriate for advertising? What kinds of posts can we create from our existing website content to promote our speakers?

Speaker Quote Sheets
Level Up Project. We are willing to discuss a possible class project as well. Number of positions: 2 (180 hours) Project: In this project, the student will be expected to work with stored and researched material and resources on our Indigenous Speakers, as well as perhaps conduct interviews with speakers to garner marketable information for their introductions. The student is expected to complete a minimum of 20 seperate Speaker Quote Sheets for various speakers. Goals: The student will be working on creating a valid and complimentary written Quote sheet that will provide credibility and confidence about the speaker, for a potential audience. As the student will be working with a demographic of people known primarily for their humility, the student will need to be diligent in acquiring the information that can best illustrate the speakers many gifts and assets.

Updating Speaker Biographies
Level Up Project - There is potential to create a classroom project as well. Please contact us. Number of positions available: 1-2 (80-160 hours) We need update our speaker biographies on our website. This requires research, interviews, and communication skills. The student will need to: Listen, research, and write good copy. Create rough drafts of all bios, submit them for approval. Collaborate with speakers and a team to complete biographies. Finished bios will be uploaded to our company website.

Marketing, Graphic Design, and Branding
Our organization wants to help develop your students skill at marketing, design, branding, etc. Goal To create new line of document templates, appropriate branding, including letterhead and logos for our International Indigenous business. Students working with IISB will have the opportunity to meet and work with real world-changers and profoundly inspiring Indigenous leaders and experts from around the globe. Writers at IISB will have the opportunity to have their work published in North American Publications, as well as seen by hundreds of readers on social media and other virtual platforms. We have a number of important tasks for Content Writers as IISB and the challenges are balanced by the awesome opportunities. Goal Develop a Content Writer to assist in the many communications tasks at The International Indigenous Speakers Bureau. We want to work with students with great writing skills and give them opportunity to shine and develop those skills with challenges and support. We have social media, internal and external business communications, interviews, articles, and educational material to be created.
