Main Goal : The primary objective of this project is to assist StrongerU Senior Fitness in the development of various operating procedures and special projects. We want students to not only understand the significance of their contributions but also feel confident that the project is manageable within a realistic timeframe of 60 hours, spread over 2-8 weeks.
Assistant to the Founder - Part 2
This is the 2nd part of the initial internship "Assistant to the Founder". Supplemental Program Planning
StrongerU Senior Fitness delivers monthly fitness class content to instructors in the US, Canada, and internationally. The goal of this project is to create supplemental program materials that compliment our monthly class content and provide further value to our instructors.
Virtual Project Management Interns
Our organization is able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for 1 student. The primary focus for the student will be: Project management and support in the expansion of our StrongerU Senior Fitness Student Sponsorship Program and sourcing/supporting volunteers for the StrongerU Senior Fitness Virtual Fitness and Wellness Centre. Initially students will complete project onboarding and shadow student sponsorship partner meetings Once students demonstrate a firm understanding of the program and expectations, they will be tasked with making new partnership connections with colleges and universities. They will then see the lifecycle of the program through from application launch to student review and selection, and student progress management. Students will also help the launch of the StrongerU Senior Fitness Virtual Fitness and Wellness Centre (Launching March 29th 2021) Our goal at the end of this experience is: give students an opportunity to learn while also helping us to expand our free services to seniors and community/older adult activity centres. Our organization is interested in engaging with the YorkU Live Client Learning (LCL) Marketing course on creative marketing solutions. Our marketing efforts have been mainly focused in Canada where we have the edge of being Canada's first pre-choreographed senior fitness series. We would like to expand our marketing to senior living organizations in the United States. As part of this goal, we are interested for the students in this course to apply the concepts they have learned thus far in their academic career to help us create a successful strategy.
